At Peabody, we focus on possibilities, and are limited only by our own imaginations. We are guided in these efforts by our own board-certified Geriatrician who offers a deep understanding of the medical needs of older individuals and the power of prevention. Aided by a full-time certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, the medical team not only realizes enhanced healing successes, they promote healthy living, actually preventing many complications associated with aging. As one of the few retirement communities anywhere with onsite physician and nurse practitioner services, Peabody sets the standard for enhancing resident health.

Our healthcare team is further enhanced by onsite physical, occupational and speech therapies. Our Rehabilitation Center continuously focuses on restoring and maintaining abilities lost through illness and injury. All residents are immediately assisted with changes in walking, eating, grooming and other activities of daily living.

Of course, no retirement community would meet their mission without a well-trained nursing staff. Peabody employs an eclectic combination of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. All nursing staff receives continuous training updates to ensure Peabody represents the most progressive care anywhere.

Not to be remiss, we must also acknowledge the contribution of our non-healthcare team members. Whether providing restaurant-style dining, environmental and housekeeping services, recreation and community activities, social services or administration, all employees and associates of Peabody are vital in our celebration of the ageless spirit.
