Peabody Introduces New Adult Day Care Program

On August 30, 2004, Peabody Retirement Community opened its new Adult Day Care Program.  Adult Day Care is a planned daily program that includes a variety of health, social and support services in a protective setting for adults 65 years of age and older.  The program is available from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday.  This exciting opportunity gives caregivers a few hours to run errands or perhaps an afternoon to visit family and friends.

Consistent with our overall mission, Peabody's Adult Day Care Program is designed to enable older adults to remain as independent as long as possible, and is staffed with health care professionals who value life at every age.  Participation in this program also allows family members and caregivers the peace of mind to continue working, or just a much needed personal respite to regain the strength and health you need to continue providing care for your loved one in your home.
