North Manchester, IN – Peabody Retirement Community recently announced the following management appointments; Chad Smyth as Vice President for Health Services and Operations, Chad Christman, D.O., as Medical Director, and Chris Scheer as Senior Director of Facility Operations.

Chad Smyth appointed as Peabody Vice President for Health Services and Operations

Smyth, a resident of Whitley County with nearly 20 years of health and long term care experience has a Masters degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelors degree from Indiana University. Smyth is a licensed nursing home administrator.

He joins Peabody after serving as Executive Director of Parkview’s Oaks Retirement Community in Columbia City, IN.
   
Chad Christman appointed Peabody Medical Director Christman, who currently has a practice in South Whitley, is a graduate of the University of Heath Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Family Practice Residency from the University of Louisville. He is currently a Major in the Kentucky Air National Guard.
   
Chris Sheer appointed Senior Director of Facility Operations Scheer, a resident of Fort Wayne, IN, has served Peabody for nearly four years. He has advanced education studies from University of New England, Australia. In addition, he has over ten years of management experience with FedEx’s Australian and New Zealand operations.  Chris was formerly The Director of Environmental Services at Peabody Retirement Community.

Established in 1931, Peabody is fully licensed.  The campus is comprised of a 48 bed Memory Enhancement Center, 144 long term care beds, 124 assisted living residences, and 57 cottage (independent) living homes.
