The Caring Circle of the Peabody Home Foundation was established to ensure the care and quality of life of residents, whose financial resources have diminished, remain constant. Thanks to the benevolence of our donors, contributions to the Caring Circle have allowed us to continue our mission of serving every resident, regardless of their financial circumstances, with the same dignity and respect they deserve.

So often, our society ignores the issues of our aging population. We focus on the concept of being young and staying that way. We forget that with time comes not only wrinkles and laugh lines, but also wisdom and understanding.

"Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?" (Job 12:12)

Peabody's Philosophy

At Peabody Retirement Community, we view older adults differently. We see them for the vibrant, compassionate individuals they are. We see past the wrinkles and into the wise soul within. We see the incredible wealth of knowledge, love and commitment each person has to offer. And we see our role as partnering with these individuals to help each person attain their unique personal best.

Peabody's Promise

For over 70 years, older adults have been calling Peabody Retirement Community home. They have come from all walks of life; have worshipped in different churches; and have lived in different places. Each individual enters into our Christian community with their own wealth of experiences; their own rich history; and their own sense of what's to come.

Peabody promises each unique individual that she or he will be treated with the same dignity and respect as their neighbors, no matter what life circumstances they find themselves in.

Last year, almost 33% of our residents found that the money they had saved for retirement just wasn't enough. Perhaps, medical expenses or a long-term illness depleted their savings. Or maybe, the downward spiral of interest rates and stock returns have taken a toll on their portfolio. Or it could simply be they have lived longer than they had anticipated.

Whatever the reason, members of our resident family do not have to worry about whether they'll have a home, because Peabody promises to continue the care and service they deserve, long after the money is gone.
